Default amble field gun

Hi , has any one any knowledge or is it myth or legend. I believe a german field gun from the 1914/ 18 war , was a town trophy displayed at the top of the town , was pushed into the cliff house quarry after ww 2 and would presume still buried there, or was it pulled out and scrapped .

Hi, it was discussed at length on another thread here, the basic facts you relate are true. except it was put in the quarry shortly after 1918. Perhaps someone could post a link to the thread on here?
