Default Photograph Identification

I have been passed a number of photographs, most taken in the 1930s but one in the 1940s. A couple of the people are known but the rest need to be identified, so here goes. First prize a bag of scramshuns

Amble Boys Brigade Camp probably about 1936/7. Frank Pierpoint is wearing the Glengarry headgear, his hand is on his son, Hilton's shoulder. (Hilton was born 1932). Davy Kay is in the middle wearing the dark waistcoat and white shirt.

Number three is Amble Golf Club, maybe about 1935. Frank Pierpoint is at the back with cap and pipe. Hilton is the young boy at the front with a miniature golf club.

The final one is Amble Tennis Club, probably about 1947. Hilton Pierpoint is third from the left in the back row.

3rd from left back row Jimmy Charlton
3rd from right back row Bobby Green
4th from left front row Ronnie Podgy then Freddie hamilton
behind davy Kay on right Jimmy Wrigglesworth
Front row on right John Yeaman. behind Magnus Henderson and Jimmy Bowron.

My mother and her friends could probably identify most of people in these photos. They were all born and bred in Amble, are nearly 90 but have excellent memories. It would be worth getting them all together over a cup of tea and set them off.

Default Steam train location?

Hi - this seemed like a good place for this one:-

Noticed this steam train in the background of this photo of Aunt Issie, don't know if the line is still there but thought someone might find it interesting.
