I'm a Geordie who lived in Thropton for about 11/12 years back in the fifties and sixties and I've joined in the hope of uncovering more about the village, the houses I lived in there and the people I knew back then.

So I'm off to dig around a bit and will post as I come across stuff.

Wild west???? Nope. From The RVI in Newcastle and now living in County Durham.

I hope to add some great Thropton images etc soon, Still collating them.
