Default Hello all

My Great Great Great Grandfather was Thomas Buston 1756 - 1839. He built and lived at High Buston Hall, High Buston.
I continued my mothers, nee Ethel Buston, family research which I have put on a website www.twonorthumbrianfamilies.co.uk Any comment. corrections or further information would be very gratefully received. Many thanks

Hi John, welcome to the forum, and a sterling piece of work.
Interesting to see the reference to John Paul Jones.
Does the Cannonball still exist? I see it was at one time in the possession of the Bustons.

68 lbs is a big one.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately I don't know the whereabouts of the cannon ball. I wonder if its in the house or grounds somewhere?
