Default ID of a street

Anyone recognise this street? It must be around here somewhere? This ancestor of mine has his address on the 1911 census recorded as 2 Swarland Terrace West, Red Row - but this is not Swarland terrace?

The gentleman died in 1928, previously lived in Amble. Buried Widdrington.

Could it possibly be Amble?

The stonework on the house front doesn't look quite right for the Amble area. I was in Wooler today and it looks a bit more like the stone work there.

I may be wrong but it's looks very much like Panhaven Road , in Amble . The houses are not in a straight line and do a slight detour in a couple of places . The house at the top of the picture runs down Blackwood Street .

ps . just been out with the camera . What do you think ?

I have studied google street view and if looked at from further behind the photographer, it certainly looks very promising. Sherlock Ricky may have cracked it

Looking at the stonework around the doors , windows and bay windows ,it looks very much the same .Even the drain pipes are in the right position ,one a foot before the doorway and the other next to the window.
Oh , second thoughts ,it may not be ..................theres no satellite dishes :-)

ps . the reason the picture [and a very good one I may add] looks familiar is that I've lived in the street for the passed 19 years although I wasn't quite around when the picture in post 1 was taken !

Wow - that's very interesting Rick, I think it is Panhaven Road, just that those changes throw you - walls, bays and a doorway changed to a window etc

Many thanks for that.
