Help needed again!
I'm looking to see if there are any newspaper mentions for the following people.
1. Henry Taylor Scott. He died on the 6.2.1917 when his ship, the SS Saxon Briton was torpedoed. 2. William Henry (sometimes known as William Taylor Scott) Scott. He served with the Royal Airforce Volunteer Reserve and passed away on the 13.08.1944. Thank you. P.s. Any further information would be greatly appreciated. |

Wesley, I don't know whether you've looked at the sister site and in particular, the local men on the Tower Hill memorial and the Radcliffe memorial. Both have information on Henry Scott of the Saxon Briton.
Henry Scott's son was Henry T Scott who married Catherine Pringle in 1923. Their son, William Henry, is your 1944 death. |

Not sure if you're looking for other Scott family members Wesley; there was a Marjorie E Scott's birth registered in Alnwick district in Quarter 4 of 1927 showing the mother's maiden name as Pringle.
Looks like Marjorie may have married Kenneth Drake in early 1945. |

I thought the name Catherine Pringle was familiar.....she's my grandad's half cousin (their grandmother married twice!)

What a small world! Catherine married my great grandfather's brother.
