No, Andy Spears, a bricklayer at Broomhill colliery was in charge and one of the NCO's was Alec Keen who worked on the building sites.

ok, I do occasionally see the Cadet Forces Medal, often with WW2 medals.
I have found an advert for the territorials and cadets (ACF and ATC) but it's for the Wansbeck area, cannot find one for this area. 1949: right under that advert was one from the NCB: |
