Default Yet Another Colliery

This one popped up out of nowhere. Northumberland must have been like the oil rush in the USA, maybe the Coen Brothers would like to consider making a film

Advertisement in the Newcastle Journal, 25 September, 1852:

"To be let, the land sale colliery at Brenckburn Priory, late in the occupation of Mr Rankin. The seam of coal is the same as that worked at Newton and Shilbottle.
For particulars, apply to Mr Benton at Brenckburn Priory."

For "Brenckburn" read "Brinkburn", I've no doubt.
