Post Acklington stories…

So you may remember me as the person who wrote the Boulmer aerodrome history used by the Fusilier website. More recently, following early retirement after 26 years in the NHS I took up writing full time. Busy putting together the second volume of a collection of Northumberland Aviation Stories which includes 28 pages on the Turbinlite squadron at Acklington and another chapter on 43 Squadron’s Not-So-Phoney War in January and February 1940. Not sure when it will be out, but my “RAF Morpeth: A Forgotten Airfield in Northumberland” is already available as an eBook via Amazon.
