Default Historic Maps of Alnwick and Alnmouth

I don't know if any members are aware of the publication of the Historic Town Maps of Alnwick and Alnmouth at the end of last year, which included a gazetteer.

I was part of the project team involved in the production and enough money was raised to move onto phase 2. Part of this is working with the Duchess' School but another thread is to produce a heritage website, preserving and developing the information that was collected during the project. This will cover: historical periods; historical themes (schools, religion, health, transport etc); streets; landscape; notable people.

If anybody is interested in getting involved, let me know. Alnmouth is looking a bit thin on the ground at the moment!
