Default Broomhill Houses

Just came across this article in the Alnwick Mercury of 14 Nov 1885:

"IMPROVED HOUSE ACCOMMODATION-Considerable addition is now being made to the house accommodation at Broomhill. Mr Spence having purchased 2 acres of land of the Trustees of the late Mr Smith, and is now building about 100 workmen's dwellings which will prove a great boon. The output of coal at this colliery is now nearly 1,400 tons per day, nearly double what it was a few years ago."

Smile Re Colliery houses

I am wondering if this article, above, refers to Railway Row and Station Row (or Deputies Raa!)
