Default Halls Shop at the top of the Wynd, Amble

Good Morning, I’m Graham Hall and was born on High St Amble in 1954.
I wonder if anyone has any photos or information regarding my grandmothers shop that was at 18 High Street opposite the Wellwood. My Grandmother was Ellen Hall (Nee Dodds) and had the shop from the late 1920’s to the 1950’s I believe.

Hi Graham10m, which building was the shop? I see her listed in the 1934 Directory
but number 18 is two houses away from the entrance to Gibson Street?

18 High Street

You are right Coquet, and according to my mother the shop was moved across the street where the old flats are now. Don’t know the dates though
