Default Warkworth Deaths

Here's an early report of a death in Warkworth, taken from the Newcastle Courant of 3 March 1753:
"We have advice from Warkworth, that on Wednesday se'ennight in the afternoon, Andrew Riddle, a gardener of that place, told his wife he would go into the garden and drain off some water therein; but not returning, the family went to seek for him, and, to their great surprise, found him in the summer house with his throat cut from ear to ear."
