Hi, a new member from Durham/Warkworth/Harrogate

Hi, just a short introduction. I was born and raised in the city of Durham. My Parents had a caravan at Hauxley from 1966 1970. They bought the Warkworth House Hotel in 1971, and I lived there until 1976, before moving back to Durham. At the young age of 13, I knew I wanted to be a butcher, so I was trained by "the" local man Alfred Moore, who had a shop on Castle Street, in Warkworth. I owe him everything. A lot of water has gone under the bridge since, I had my own shop for a number of years in the port town of Goole, and had to retire at 58, due to a health condition..... does anyone have any photos of warkworth, circa 1970, as sadly I do not.
