I've heard of it many times but did not know where it was. Wikipedia has it in their German camps list. They concentrated Irish prisoners there at the start of the war.
There are a couple more mentioned, Kamstigall, Karlsruhe, possibly a fourth camp which I cannot read. Kept him on the move then.

Limburg should have rung a bell as a German prisoner of war camp. In an earlier thread I mentioned it in connection with a David Bartholomew Murrie who was in the RND in WW1 and captured.
