Yeah, the name is right, and she can remember seeing a headstone when younger. I've tried a few ways to find their births/deaths, etc but no success. In the 1911 census it states that their parents had 7 children alive with another 6 having died.

Well that's interesting. Can I have a look, if you give me the names of the parents ? There are two Buglass' dying in the Alnwick registration district in 1910 and 1911 but in their early twenties. Could this be the two you are after perhaps?

The dates for these two would indicate West Cemetery burials.

Default East Cemetery Plan

Coquet, way back you posted a link to a plan for the cemetery when you were looking for the plot of one of your ancestors, Jane Richardson. I've just tried the link and it doesn't work.......any clues?

I've noticed that we mention this family elsewhere, with the murder of William Buglass, a Shilbottle pitman in Alnwick in 1874.

The twins are likely to be in a gap in the birth sequence between 1889 and 1897 and probably in the Chirton area. They are unlikely to have been teenagers since the census doesn't lose any children.

Young Buglass buried in East Cemetery in 1904 is of the family.

William would have been the grandfather of the twins, if we ever find them, lol.
