Default Derrick Allison, of the Warkworth House Hotel

I am not sure if anyone here remembers that place, from 1971 until 1976? My father, derrick and his wife, Molly, ran the place very successfully during that period. And he was also the organist of the parish church there for a while.
Anyway, my reason for this post, is just to let anyone that knew him during those times, is that he passed away on monday 3rd December 2018, and will have a requiem mass, to be held in Durham Cathedral, on the 20th Dec, followed by interment at Stonefall, Harrogate, along with his wife, molly, who is also buried there

Thankyou Peter, sorry to hear of your loss.
I am fairly sure the Rotary club used to meet there around that time in the 70s? There are a number, of which my father is one, who are still around from that time, I will pass it on to dad.
