Broomhill Cyclist Club

My grandfather was secretary of the Pegswood Cycling Club and then when he moved to Broomhill, became secretary there. Photograph of the Pegswood cyclists attached.

As a child my Dad always promised me his bikes, they were in a shed in the old Chevington Terraced area. We got the bikes eventually, (I would have been about 10 years old). I remember to the day, they were Raleigh "Lenton" Sports, had 3 gears and a bad saddle. As it happened they were both his and his dads bikes
