Could be. Of course it might not be mining related at all. The guy on the beach with the worm vacuum in the video thinks it's mine water (unprompted by me) - if that counts for anything!
The water out of Hauxley pumping station was crystal clear if I recall but when it came into contact with sandstone the rock went dark rust brown.
Anyway I think the coal authority are looking into it. Might have to restart Hauxley pumps if the water is theirs!
