I had a look around this morning, owing to a broken down fence and the absence of signs, I walked outside the baffle banks and came across the stone described by the moor. The two northern stones look to be under the baffle banks.The north-easterly one should have been at the end of the field boundary in the middle distance of my landscape photo. The field boundary looks to be original and the footpath follows the course of the Hauxley railway.
Next, can someone have a good look round at the back of the Moorhouse farm again?
