It is the whole property hollydog. In 1920 Amble House was put up for sale by Dr Smyth after he had already submitted plans for a lot of house building round the edges of the land. I sketched that one out
Since the house went up for sale in October 1920 I think the building had already happened?
The building plan put 3 properties at the north eastern corner, 10 along Wellwood Street plus two facing into Bede Street and then 11 up Bede Street.
I did write out the detail of the sale document so I'll stick that on here soon.
The sale documents also included a very nice photograph of Amble House....I'm going to Woodhorn tomorrow so I can get a copy of that if you want.
