Just coincidence but there is a seam there at the north end of Hadston Carrs. The Yard seams outcrops under the sand about there.

Nothing under that spot on the plans. Brass Thill was worked to the dunes and under 'Elm Bush', 1898 and 1911. That is the closest on the plans I have. Brass Thill is about 200 feet down as well.

There would have to have been some sort subsidence as well to create a pathway to the surface. I'll have a look at Alan's maps and see what workings are under there and at what depth.
