Good Morning, I’m Graham Hall and was born on High St Amble in 1954.
I wonder if anyone has any photos or information regarding my grandmothers shop that was at 18 High Street opposite the Wellwood....

He was my grandfather and the area is indeed the ford at the Black Bridge. He worked for Walter Wilson’s and initially survived being washed off the ford but returned to the water to try and rescue...
