The tower (if that's what it is) is directly opposite the entrance to Warkworth Cottage on the old map. The property on the same side of the road as the tower is called Christian Cottage, I wonder if...

There is what appears to be part of an old stone tower in a field on the right hand side of the road, just as you pass the last house out of Warkworth on the Morwick Road.
