They came out of the dunes due to the coastal erosion. There was a full pot of hammered found in a wall at Gloster Hill once, I think Leslie said they are in the Hancock?

Excellent finds that bring local history to life, very nice. I have a couple of hammered silver from beach detecting within a mile of Amble. Not found any yellow ones unfortunately :(
