That makes sense. According to the Survey: Houses occupy 3 sides of irregular square. Northernmost is Long Row, eastern side is Cross Row, southern, Burn Row. Western side is open to public road.

Does anyone know where Burn Row was? It appears in the census and in a Rural Sanitary report of 1873. This states that Burn Row made up the southern line of the houses, presumably round about where...
