Why are we here?

Born in Amble 75 years ago, left about 57 years ago, still with one relative there. Dukes School boy, now well retired chemical engineer and grandfather in the Midlands. Interested in genealogy, with past relatives all the way from Amble to the head of the Coquet and widely scattered across the country. Also interested in the former local industries.

73 years ago

Born Amble 73 years ago,.left 59 years ago and lived in the Midlands for some time!Not in chemicals though I have worked on refineries!!Have a look at my album and see if you recognize anyone!!
