Thought I'd introduce myself. I've provided the gallery with a few photographs over time and thought it was about time I joined the forum.

Amble born and bred, and, having done a civilising stint in the South East , now living mostly in the Eglingham area which is where my dad's family were farm labourers, before his grandfather moved to the pits. My dad was a miner at Broomhill, Hauxley and Shilbottle. My mother was a native of Warkworth. Relatives still in Amble and Hadston.

Interested in all things Northumberland....entering the Olympics as the official bore in that category.

Love family history and local history.
