William Wood - Warkworth Harbour man 1840s
 

I'm looking for information about my ancestor William Wood (? Born 1761) who lived in Warkworth, and previously in Belford. His son Henry was born in Belford in 1817 but on his marriage certificate in 1841 he lists his father William Wood's occupation as harbour man in Warkworth. I would love to take my family tree back further but as I now live in Australia I'm finding it hard to gather information. If anyone can offer any information I would be forever grateful.
