Default Mystery girl

This was amongst family photos and on the back is "from Florence to dad"and dad appeared to have been in Stalag 9 at the time.

This photo seems very familiar , she's not a member of my family but I've seen it before somewhere. My late grandfather was in stalag 9 for 5 years ,dont know if there is a link .

Default Stalag 9

My stepdad was a POW from 1942 on,there are several photos from the camp showing various groups of POWS so I guess he was probably there.I can post them on here for you if you like?Maybe your grandad is on one of them!

Good idea .I'd be interested in seeing them .I found a website many years ago with lots of photos from many of the Stalag camps , but couldn't see my grandfather .I did download every picture from the site and have them backed up on a external drive somewhere.
