Default The new 'Black Bridge' Warkworth

The old bridge was destroyed during the flooding of the Coquet in September 2008.

Once a bridge starts picking up debris during a flood, it dosn't take long for the weight of water to destroy it.
I bet the tree hitting the bridge was a change of underwear job too!

Has anybody any idea why it was called
Black Bridge as I've never seen it black
Even the replacement is not black
