Default Colliery Bible

I bought this bible about twenty years ago from a charity shop in Morpeth; thought it might be of interest. Photo (found inside) appears to be of a miner and his missus, both in their Sunday best (unsmiling), posing in the middle of what looks to be a small vegetable patch. Roman numerals on the frontispiece give the date (of the bible) as 1870.
