HI Everyone,

short intro- married local to amble,though not born here,ive lived in the town 30 yr and love the place. recently retired from HMP, ive become really involved in the local history,through my hobby of metal detecting.
I'm always researching local places all the time , and have already gained permission on several sites locally, that I and hobby partner have made some interesting finds, one in particular, a 100 yr old PRIMITIVE METHODIST CHURCH pendant,this was reunited with the Amble methodist church ,just 2 weeks ago.
id be very happy to share any information with others on our finds, and if theres anybody else out there interested in gaining history on their own property, I would be happy to advise.

especially interested in the old port, warkworth side, and anything to do with warkworth castle. thanks gary
