Monastery in Kielder?
 

Does anyone know if, in days of old, there was a monastery in Kielder?

"Kielder covers a great area, there would be church lands in area . cannot find a individual reference to a Monastery in Kielder its self , there would be possibly monastic cells . Hexham Abbey possibly had possession of land in area . or Newminster Abbey. . if you fancy wading through this there could be reference.
